Opening of
Residential Bridge Course in each Tandas.

The RBC has to be
maintained by facilitating NGOs.

The RBC paved way
to build rapport with the Birhors, aware them about various
issues like sanitation and hygiene, health related issues,
beautification of tanda, adult literacy etc.

The RBC also caters
the nutritional needs of 6 – 14 age group children as most of
them suffers from malnutrition. The balance amount available in
RBC would provide food to adolescent girls and lactating women
of the community.
The Education
Department being nodal agency of the programme has initiated with
its activities. Other departments are preparing their own plan for
intervention in Birhor tandas. In next phase of the project, they
will initiate with relevant interventions. Similarly, the process is
on for constitution of district and block level task force so that
the monitoring and follow up support to the project could be
ensured.
