Five Birhor Tandas of Giridih district

With a view to uplift economic, social, cultural and political status of Birhor communities of five Birhor Tandas of Bagodar and Sariya blocks of Giridih district, an intrgrated development programme with holistic development approach has been initiated by the district administration from September 2009. To fulfill the objectives of the programme, convergence of different departments has been ensured and implementation of various schemes is being made through different Govt. Agencies and five voluntary organizations. These agencies & organizations are carrying out different developmental and reformative activities there.
